The security and strict confidentiality of your data are a top priority for the Weitzer Parkett Group. We strive to protect your data to the best of our ability when you visit our website with high security standards.

We collect and process your data to provide you with the best service, ensuring convenient access to our products and promptly processing your orders to your satisfaction. Additionally, this allows us to inform you about our new products. The legal basis for data usage includes data protection law (DSG) and the Telecommunications Act (TKG).

What data is stored and processed?

We store the personal data you provide (especially name, company or residential and delivery address, email, phone number, and bank details) with your consent to efficiently process subsequent orders.

By providing your data, you consent to the use and utilization of the personal data you provide for proper contract fulfillment, possibly for advertising purposes, and for billing purposes. Since you also provide your email address or your company/residential and delivery address in this context, we assume that we may contact you through this communication channel to respond to your inquiries. Please let us know if you no longer wish to be contacted in the future.

Furthermore, all offers and placed orders are stored. In the event of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the end of the statutory retention period for tax purposes (7 years).

Name, address, purchased goods, and purchase date will also be stored until the end of product liability (10 years). Data processing is carried out based on the legal provisions of § 96 para. 3 TKG and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a (consent) and/or lit. b (necessary for contract fulfillment) of the GDPR.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that allow this website to store specific, user-related information on the visitor’s computer while visiting this website. Cookies help determine the frequency of use and the number of users on this website. Session cookies, which are stored exclusively for the duration of website use, and permanent cookies to record information about visitors who repeatedly access the website, are used. The content of a permanent cookie is limited to an identification number. Name, IP address, etc., are not stored. You can disable the storage of cookies in your browser, restrict it to certain websites, or configure your web browser (Chrome, IE, Firefox, etc.) to notify you when a cookie is sent. You can also delete cookies from your PC’s hard drive at any time. Please note that in this case, you can expect limited display of the page and limited user guidance.

Web Analysis

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc., (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”). The use includes the “Universal Analytics” operating mode. This makes it possible to assign data, sessions, and interactions across multiple devices to a pseudonymous user ID and thus to analyze a user’s activities across devices.

Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies,” text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states that are parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address provided by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities, and to provide the website operator with other services related to website and Internet use. These purposes also include our legitimate interest in data processing.

The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is § 15 para. 3 TMG or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The data sent by us and linked to cookies, user IDs (e.g., user ID) or advertising IDs are automatically deleted after 14 months. Data whose retention period has been reached is automatically deleted once a month. For more information on terms of use and data protection, please visit https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or https://policies.google.com/?hl=de.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly. However, we would like to point out that in this case, you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser add-on. Opt-out cookies prevent future collection of your data when you visit this website. To prevent Universal Analytics from collecting data across different devices, you must perform the opt-out on all systems used. Click here to set the opt-out cookie: Deactivate Google Analytics.

reCAPTCHA

To protect your inquiries via the internet form, we use the reCAPTCHA service of Google Inc. (Google). The query is used to determine whether the input is made by a human or abusive automated, machine processing. The query includes the transmission of the IP address and possibly other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service. For this purpose, your input will be transmitted to Google and used there. However, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states that are parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of this service. The IP address provided by your browser as part of reCAPTCHA will not be merged with other data from Google. For these data, the differing data protection regulations of Google apply. For more information about Google’s privacy policies, please visit: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

Use of Google Maps

We use the “Google Maps” component of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter “Google,” on our site.

Each time “Google Maps” is accessed, Google sets a cookie to process user settings and data when displaying the page on which “Google Maps” is integrated. This cookie is usually not deleted by closing the browser but rather expires after a certain time, unless you delete it manually beforehand.

If you do not agree to this processing of your data, you have the option to disable the “Google Maps” service and thus prevent the transmission of data to Google. To do this, you must disable the Java script function in your browser. However, we would like to point out that in this case, you may not be able to use “Google Maps” or only to a limited extent.

The use of “Google Maps” and the information obtained via “Google Maps” is governed by the Google Terms of Use and the additional terms and conditions for “Google Maps.”
